Kingdom of Tavolara

.

Arms of Tavolara

The Kingdom of Tavolara was ruled by the Bertoleoni family until the 1960s.
Does anyone have any information concerning this family, especially the current head, Prince Tonino, and his family.

Tavolara Island - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This kingdom sounds much like the Principality of Seborga, and the other tiny republic created on an island off Sardinia.

I read that the present 'king' Tonino, a.k.a. 'King' Carlo II is currently running a restaurant in Island Tavolara named 'Da Tonino' (such a cheap name to attach to a restaurant run by 'royalty'!).
Carlo II's wife Queen Pompea died on the 13th of March 2010.

Here's a link for info:

Thanks for the information it looks like their claim is laughable at best but i love to go on wikipedia list of current pretender and see who is included. If u find out anything else like the age of his children i appreciate it
