Wasn't he reportedly a biological father of his wife's younger twins?

I'd say that although still unofficial them being his biological children is a public secret by now.

It is sorry this Prince did not have his own thread. His Godmother was our Queen Elisabeth of the Belgians , grandmother of his wife Princess Maria Pia of Savoie.

Thanks for sharing eya. Luisa and Cecilia have grown up a lot and are very pretty little girls! They look a lot like their Dutch cousins IMO.

Looks like the visit for Bercreto was an enjoyable day out for Cecilia and her mother - so cute to see them both getting on so well with the mayor! Both little princesses seem to have lovely natures.

The diadem Princess Irene wore at her wedding has been lost according to Noblesse & Royautes:

People in the comment section say that it belonged to Princess Cecile (note that somebody else says it belonged to all 3 unmarried sisters), who left it with a notary firm in 1996 . A few months later the tiara was mysteriously lost. The tiara was valued at 3 million euros. The princess started a law suit against the notary firm, which dragged on until 2008 when the firm was forced to pay the sum.
It originally belonged to Dss Maria Antonia, 2nd wife of Duke Robert. But the origins can be traced back to the duches of Angoulême.

It is quite a pity because it was a beautiful piece and because the family has nothing left. The late Infanta Alicia inherited most of the family's jewels. And those were sold a few weeks ago.

Accordind tho this blog post written by Marina Minelli (the very knowlegeable author of altezzareale.com), the diadem originally belonged to the Duchess of Angouleme, the daughter of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. She then left it to her nephew, the Count of Chambord; at his death it was inherited by his nephew, Duke Roberto I of Parma.
In the meantime, the diadem was altered by the Count of Chambord, who had some diamonds removed from the diadem and gave them as a wedding present to the two brides of Duke Roberto of Parma.
It was eventually inherited by Duke Xavier of Parma, who loaned it to his daughter-in-law Princess Irene of the Netherland when she married to the then Prince Carlos Hugo, in 1964. Irene wore it during her marriage to Carlos Hugo, but after they divorced she gave it back to the Parmas.
In 1996, as Marengo mentioned, Princess Cecile entrusted it to a notary in Paris; at the time, the Burbon-Parma siblings (the sons and daughters of Duke Xavier) were dealing with the division of some Bourbon-Parma inheritance and the diadem was part of the asset.
After some months, the diadem disappeared.

It is shocking that once amongst the wealthiest royal families of Europe has lost almost everything. The Bourbon-Parma family shares that fate with the Bourbon-d'Orléans family. The fact that there were two world wars, a collapse of monarchies (in Austria, in Spain, in Italy), the extremely fruitful marriages, poor financial management and costly adventures will be debet to that.

Interesting additional information - thank you, Marengo and Stefan.
It's a pity that such a diadem is missing, hopefully it can be found soon as it's quite beautiful! Perhaps it could have been auctioned to a private dealer or collector?

Most likely broken up and the diamonds sold. Otherwise the family would not have received 3 million Euro, which is ridiculously low with today's auction prices in mind, given the fact that the eldest diamonds were from Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette's only surviving child, Madame Royale. No... These diamonds will be scattered into uncountable untraceable rings, bracelets, earrings, colliers... Sad enough.
