The palazzo (which needs lots of renovation) is for sale now between 3 and 4 million Euro: https://lc.zoocdn.com/a384be00b01d67...f74c3a704f.jpg There are other Martinoni estates in Lombardy and in Italy.

May the Duke of Aosta rest in peace.
Will Prince Aimone now inherit his father's claim to the headship of the House of Savoy?

The late Duke Amedeo saw himself as the chef of the former Royal House of Italy since King Umberto II did not approve the wedding of Prince Vittorio Emanuele to Marina Doria.
Apart from this, the Savoia-Aostas saw that ultimately the headship will "land" in their branch anyway, since there are no male heirs in the Savoia branch after Emanuele Filiberto. But now the Duke of Savoia has declared that his two granddaughters will be successors indeed.
The late Duke of Aosta fought this because a) not Vittorio Emanuele but he was the chef and b) there is no authority for the chef to change the succession to his own pleasure.
But having said that: in contrary to the Savoias, the Savoia-Aostas could live in Italy. Both the late Duke Amedeo as the current new Duke Aimone have served in the Italian Navy and they have never pursued anything against the interests of the Republic.
Any restoration seems not at all interesting for tge Savoia-Aostas, they do jot waste energy on that. Aimone seems on friendly terms with Emanuele Filiberto. It were more their fathers who were the hotheads.

Message of the Duke of Savoy:
Just after hearing the news of the passing-away of His Royal Highness Amedeo di Savoia-Aosta, Duke of Aosta, His Royal Highness The Prince Vittorio Emanuele di Savoia, Duke of Savoy, Prince of Naples, issued the following statement:
With profound consternation I learned about the passing-away of His Royal Highness The Duke of Aosta, my cousin Amedeo.
In this painful moment, to Her Royal Highness the Duchess Silvia, to His Royal Highness the Duke Aimone and to all their loved ones, I wish to express my deepest condoleances, joined by my spouse Marina, my son Emanuele Filiberto, my daughter-in-law Clotilde and my granddaughters Vittoria and Luisa.
The sadness for the passing-away of Amedeo sharpens in memory those divisions that unfortunately have marked the last few years but which disappear in the face of mourning and the memory to so many affectionate moments that have accompanied our lives, and especially in our youth.
This sadness affects our whole House.
For the moment His Royal Highness The Prince Vittorio Emanuele will make no any furtherer statements.
Geneva, June 1st 2021
Secretariate of the Royal House of Savoy
