According to the law of succession of the Imperial House of Russia, Grand Duke Georgi must married with the other Royal Lady otherwise his children have no right of succession to the throne.

He wouldn’t want to risk any objections being raised against his succession rights In the event that the monarchy was ever restored in Russia.
Besides, regardless of who he is dating now or has been dating for the past years, I don’t think an equal marriage should be a big deal for someone like Georgi. There are plenty of ladies from former ruling families in Germany , Austria or southern Europe who are part of the same social circles he moves in. Religion might be an obstacle though as the bride would have to agree to convert and join the Russian Orthodix church.
