May she rest in peace.

Here's an article from the New York Times:

It says that the Princess died at her home in Europe.

I read that she died in Monte Carlo but that hasn't been confirmed.

Few members from Pahlavi Family have posted messages about Ashraf´s death:

Princess Yasmine:
Quote:
Most people knew Princess Ashraf as a strong, fearless woman with an iron will. I was lucky enough to see a softer side of her. When I met her for the first time as a shy 17 year old bride, she welcomed me into the family with open arms. I will never forget the affection she showed me and our children. She loved my husband like a son.
At last she has been reunited with the brother she loved so much.

Thanks for posting it. With the exception of Empress Farah, I can't recognize anyone of the mourners.

Her funeral took place on 14 January 2016, exactly one week after her death.
According to the article, in the past two years she has lived in Monaco, where also her half-brother Prince Gholamreza Pahlavi lives; he is now the last living child of Reza Shah, aged almost 93.

Thanks for your quick reply MAfan.
One week is a quite long period because Muslims usually bury their dead within hours after death. I believe the late princess was a Shiaa Muslim like the rest of her family & their ancestors.
May GOD rest her soul in peace & bless Prince Gholamreza.

As MAfan wrote she lived in Montecarlo. I think Empress was outside Europe so they wait she could attend the funeral.
Yes Rossina she and Pahlavi family are shii but she hasn´t been buried following muslim traditions (they have choosen a non muslim cementery too) same happened with Farah´s mother, Leila and Ali Reza.
