No doubt the Govt of the Islamic Republic will destroy [or hide away] the remains of the father of the late Shah.
Given the widespread dissatisfaction with the regime and its sizeable Monarchist component they dare not let it become any kind of 'rallying point'.

The regime, fearing mass protests, has sent large number of security forces to Rey, where Reza Shah was buried and where his remains were discovered recently.
It's emblematic of how weak the Islamic regime is that it is scared of a mummy. However, this particular mummy signifies all of Iran's greatness whereas they signify Iran's current ruin.
