Farah Diba has many beautiful and expensive jewelries, does anyone know if she still owne them or are in Iran? I say this because I heard the shah jewerlies were for sometime in big caskets in Paris during the 60s and were brought back to Iran before islamic revolution.

I read tht al the jewels used by Her Majesty belonged to Malli Bank, and all of them remained in Iran after the revolution. In fact in an interview given by the Shahbanou she said that only could take a nacklace. Later she got a very nice nacklace that is a balance figure which she usually wears.

In fact Her Majestythe Shahbanou was and is a very simple woman. Of course when she had some official event she tried to represent her country in the best way she could, wearing al the treasuries and jewels. I also guess that her husband, the Shah was proud that his wife was very beautiful and looked so beautiful in this official occasions. But you probably know that when Empress Farah was free of official liabilities she was a very normal woman.
On the other hand, I'm nout sure that the Shah brought back the jewerlies from Paris to Iran because I think that jewels never left Iran.

I learnt about the shah jewerlies were in Paris, a long time ago from a documentary. Unfortunately I didn't find yet any paper about this subject. I will post if I find something.
Thanks for the two pictures. In fact, they were taken in 1979, certainly in Morocco, because the royal couple left Iran in 1979, January, and this pictures belong to the beginning of their sad exile.
About jewels, if you have been able to learn about this fact surely you'll be right. In any case, I think it shows that the Empress didn't took this jewels with her.
It would be nice to remember and also collect all the magazines tat have devoted their covers to Her Majesty the Shahbanou Farah of Iran. Do you want to help me?
