Oettingen-Wallerstein was twice created; first as a partition of Oettingen (modern day town of Oettingen in Bayern) in 1423 which became extinct in 1517 and was inherited by Oettingen-Oettingen, and the second time as a partition of Oettingen-Oettingen in 1557. Oettingen-Oettingen suffered one partition, between itself and Oettingen-Spielberg in 1602. It was raised to a Principality in 1774, mediatised to the Kingdom of Bavaria in 1806, and divided with the Kingdom of Württemberg in 1810.​

Prince Friedrich of Oettingen-Oettingen and Oettingen-Wallerstein married on August 30, 2008 in the Basilica Maria Loretto, Italy Ms. Isabella Bonelli. Friedrich is the son of Fuerst Moritz and Fuerstin Lioba (nee Pss of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg). Friedrich is the couple's 3rd and youngest son.

Looking for photos of a certain Princely House

Hi, everyone:
Long time lurker, new poster here :)
I am starting this thread to ask for your help with getting new or recent pictures of the House of Oettingen-Spielberg. This family seems to be so low-profile-loving it's hard to find photos of its members, apart from some old pictures of the Fuerst and Fuerstin. I am beginning to build a personal collection of bits of info and pictures of the German Royals, which i have found in good amounts here (thanks to you all for that), but almost nothing recent from this branch of the Oettingens.
So as to give you an idea of what I want, I am looking for group pictures of ALL the Oettingen-Spielbergs, but if none are available, I will be contented with individual pics of the Fuerst's children, that is Erbprinz Franz-Albrecht and Princesses Antonia, Nora and Theresa. But recent ones, please!

There is a Susi von Oettingen who works for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and works with endangered species. She is particularly connected with the work involved in the White Nose Syndrome wiping out the bat colonies there. I wonder if anyone knows if she is a member of the Princely families?
 
Hereditary Prince Franzb Albrechtb zu Oettingen-Pettingen and Oettingen Spielberg married Baroness Cleopatra von Adelsheim in a civil ceremony at Adelsheim on 04.06.2016. The religious ceremony will take place in July in Oettingen.
He is the only son of Fürst Franz Albrecht zu Oettingen-Oettingen and Oettingen-Spielberg and his wife Angela, née Jank. The bride is a daughter of Baron Louis von Adelsheim and Lillian-Elena Baettig-Rodriguez

Does someone know how many children the couple Friedrich von Oettingen-Oettingen and Oettingen-Wallerstein and Isabella, née Bonelli has.
They have at least three daughters and were expecting a fourth child in August 2015

According to this article, the wedding was attended by Prince Harry as well. He managed to fly under the radar pretty well, but some onlookers managed to see him.

I like the sound of the name Von Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Wallerstein or Von Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg, it has such a rhytmic sound.

I think Baroness Cleopatra had a beautiful dress, I like the long, flowing veil in particular. The bridesmaids and page boys were sweet, too. It seemed like it was a nice wedding.

Interesting, what is Prince Harry's connection with the bride and or groom? I haven't read anything about his relationship with the Oettingen family.

Princess Cleopatra was a beautiful bride. The dress was very bohemian. A long veil-looking train seemed a bit odd.

Beatrice is the daughter of Count Borromeo and of Countess Marzotto. In most European countries the notion of being born out of wedlock is not relevant for law. Her parents were not married when she was born but this does not take away the simple fact that Beatrice is their natural daughter. It is a lesser sin than writing "Princess Charlotte Casiraghi".

Where ever this wedding is, it will be a major society event. Between the Percy family and her family, the guest list will be impressive. I'd expect Harry at the very least, as he is friendly with both families (attended the weddings of the siblings of both), and Beatrice very likely.
