"Prince Ernst August moved with his family from Hanover to Austria. The 39-year-old hereditary prince refers to professional reasons: from Upper Austria he will take care of the nearby Duke von Cumberland Foundation. The move took place in the summer, said Ernst August.
For his family and himself, he rented a property owned by the foundation in Gmunden. His father of the same name, Ernst August Prince of Hanover, lives just a few kilometers from the northern shore of Lake Traun, with whom he had a legal dispute over the Marienburg for years.

This was settled just a few weeks ago. Ernst August announced that he would remain closely connected to the city and region of Hanover.

"My wife and I will continue to live up to our commitments here in the future," said the 39-year-old."

They moved to a beautiful area in Austria, we have been there on holiday some time ago. Fortunately Ernst August Sr. is not permitted any longer to stay at his residence in Grünau, which is quite close. I guess this might be one of the reasons that EA Jr. and his family have moved there.
As far as I know EA Senior has moved to Madrid with his Spanish girlfriend and seems to be close to his younger son's family.
