According to Danish BilledBladet the girl is called Louisa - 3400 gram and 53 cm

Thanks for the correction! I was the culprit, the date is now corrected.

Nice news for Pss enedikte, it is her 4th grandchild I believe. A lovely name btw, though I am sure she will get a few others.

Wonderful news! Congratulations to Nathalie, Alexander and Konstantin!
I had a feeling that she would have a girl (perhaps my guessing the wrong gender for every royal baby ended with the birth of the Monegasque twins – that also only took two years to turn  ) and Louisa is a terrific name. Can't wait to hear her full name.

Louisa is a beautiful choice of name, I like it very much. I know it's much too early, but I am looking forward to see her on her first pony .

Alexander is working for a company which specializes on transporting horses, the company belongs to his uncle, afai. And Alexander's father Heinrich-Wilhelm Johannsmann was a successful show jumping rider who now works as a coach. The horse-bug is all over the family! Little Louisa's first words will probably be 'pony' and 'horse' .

Congratulations to the family on the birth of baby Louisa. Apparently they have not followed the custom of not revealing the name(s) until the christening.

This would not work in Germany as you have to regster the birth of a child until a week after the birth and to register it you need a name.

Hopefully they publish at least one photo of little Louisa together with Alexander and Konstantin. Haven´t seen Konstantin since his birth-photos were published. Later I only remember that group photo after the church-wedding where he was barely recognizable.

Louisa is a very pretty name, and it sounds wonderful with Konstantin. I find it a bit strange that her middle names haven't been announced yet, and I'd be very surprised if she didn't have any since the German Royals tend to have lots of middle names. I'm looking forward into seeing a photo of baby Louisa.
