I have a question about orders and decorations of the Kingdom of France.
As far as I understand, the July monarchy of King Louis-Philippe abolished the historical orders such as the Order of the Holy Spirit and the Order of St Michael and retained only the Napoleonic/republican Legion of Honor. Does the Orleanist pretender now claim, however, the sovereignty of the historical orders ?

I don't think so. But yes, both orders were abolished in 1830 after the July Revolution.
However, Louis Alphonse, Duke of Anjou is the Grand Master of Order of the Holy Spirit as inherited from his father, The Duke of Cádiz.

Dear theroyalfly ,
You are posting too much instagrams without their contexte.
I like discussions about Royals and learning more about them.

Princess Claude d'Orléans (b 1943)
The second marriage of Princess Claude d'Orléans (b 1943) with Arnaldo La Cagnina ended in 1996. Exactly when and where/what city was it dissolved?
After that she married Enrico Gandolfi. It took place in 2006, but exactly where and when was it? And where and when was Enrico born?

If everything could be found in Wikipedia, I would have already found it, since that was the first place I looked...

Princess Claude married her second husband Arnaldo La Cagnina civilly on 27 April 1982 at Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her marriage with Amadeo di Savoia-Aoste, Principe di Savoia was annulled later on in 1987.
Her third marriage to Enrico Gandolfi in 2006 was both civil and religious. They were married in Oreno, Milan. He was of Italian nationality and was a University professor. He died on 27 October 2015 in Laterina.
