Anne de Bretagne had several pregnancies during her tenure as twice queen of France.

11 January 1395 : Birth of Michelle de France ,Duchess of Burgundy, Countess of Artois and Flanders.

Michelle was the daughter of of Charles VI of France and Isabeau of Bavaria and was named in honour of St Michael the Archangel.
In 1409 the Princess was married to Philippe future Duke of Burgundy.

12th of January 1322 : Death of Marie de Brabant ,Queen of France

Marie was the widow of Philippe III of France and died during the reign of her step great grandson Charles IV of France.The Dowager queen died at at Les Mureaux near Meulan aged 67 and was buried at the now destroyed Couvent des Cordeliers de Paris.

17th of January 1334 : Death of Jean de Bretagne,Earl of Richmond

Jean was the son of Jean II of Brittany and Beatrice of England ,he was also a cousin of Edward I of England.
Jean died at Nantes in Brittany and he was buried at the now destroyed couvent des Cordeliers de Nantes.

On this day, January 19, 1544 ~ Birth of King Francis II of France at the Chateau de Fontainebleau
 
François was baptized at the Palace chapel of Fontainebleau on the 10th of February 1544.
His godfather was his grandfather ,King François II and his godmother was his great aunt Marguerite d'Angoulême,Queen of Navarre.

Anne d'Autriche had acted as queen Regent of France from 1643-1651 but was still politically active up until her death from breast cancer.

The queen died at the Abbey of Val-de-Grâce where her heart was buried at the chapel of St Anne at Notre-Dame du Val-de-Grâce and her body taken to St Denis and buried at the crypt of the Bourbons.

By her mother Marguerite de Foix ,Anne was related to the Royal House of Navarre.
Her mother was the daughter of Éléonore Ier de Navarre and Gaston IV de Foix-Bearn,Count de Foix,Bigore and Viscount of Narbonne ,Bearn amd Marsan.

Her uncle Gaston was the great great grandfather of Henri IV of France
Gaston-Catherine de Navarre-Henri II of Navarre-Jeanne d'Albret -Henri III/IV

Her cousin Germaine de Foic went onto marry Ferdinand II of Aragon.

Queen Louise died at the Château de Moulins and her remains were transported back to Paris.
Her remains were buried at the Couvent des Capucines in Paris and not at St Denis beside her late husband,Henri III.
The Capuchine nuns were evicted in April 1790 and the church ransacked and later torn down ,however in 1806 the burial vault was discovered and the intact coffin of queen Louise and several other nobles were discovered.The remains of queen Louise were reburied at the crypt of the Basilica of Saint-Denis in 1817.

On this day, January 31, 1756 ~ Birth of Maria Teresa of Savoy, Countess of Artois, wife of the future King Charles X of France, at the Royal Palace in Turin, Kingdom of Sardinia
 
Marie Therese de Savoie died nineteen years before Charles became king and 9 years before the Bourbon Restoration.

2nd of February 1426 : Birth of Eleanor of Navarre ,Countesses of Foix and Viscountesses of Narbonne and later Queen Regnant of Navarre.

Eleanor of Navarre was the daughter of Blanche I of Navarre and Juan,Duke of Montblanc.

On this day, February 4, 1505 ~ Demise of Jeanne of France, Queen of France, spouse of King Louis XII of France, in Bourges, Duchy of Berry
 
February 6th,1378 : Death of Jeanne de Bourbon,Queen of France.


Jeanne was the wife of Charles V and died not long after giving birth to her daughter Catherine de France.
The queen's body was buried at St Denis whilst her heart at Couvent des Cordeliers & her entrails at the Couvent des Célestins in Paris.

Catherine de Foix was queen of Navarre from 1483 until her death and was also duchess de Nemours, Comtesse de Foix, de Bigorre de Penthièvre et de Périgord, vicomtesse de Limoges, de Castelbon, de Marsan ,de Béarn & dame d'Albret .
The queen is buried at Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Lescar.

On this day, February 4, 1505 ~ Demise of Jeanne of France, Queen of France, spouse of King Louis XII of France, in Bourges, Duchy of Berry

At the time of her death she was Jeanne de France,Duchess de Berry and was living as a nun and died at the Couvent de l'Annonciade de Bourges which she founded in 1502.
Jeanne was buried at the convent chapel but sadly it was sacked in 1562 by the Huguenots who burnt her remains.

His wife Marie Adélaïde of Savoy the Dauphine of France had died 6 days earlier on February 12th.
Both of them were buried at Sat Denis whilst their hearts were buried at Sainte-Anne chapel at the Val-de-Grâce church in Paris.
 
February 23rd,1270 : Death of Saint Isabelle de France

Isabelle de France was the daughter of Louis VIII of France and Blanche de Castile and also a younger sister of King Louis IX of France (Saint Louis).
In 1255 she founded the Abbaye royale de Longchamp but did not become a nun or Abbess and lived at the Abbey until her death.
Following her death the Princess was buried at the Nuns chapel and Isabelle
was beatified in 1521.

In February 1790,the Poor Clare Sisters were evicted from Longchamp and in October 1792 the abbey was ransacked and torn down in 1794.Isabel's tomb was also destroyed however an engraving of it from the early 1700's has survived.

Queen Eleanor was queen dowager of both France and Portugal and was Duchess de Touraine for life.
The queen left France in 1548 for Brussels to her sister Mary's court where she served as Regent but left for Spain in 1555 with Mary and their beloved brother Charles who had Abdicated.
