The royal Children of François I and Claude de France
François I and his first queen,Claude de France had 7 surviving children,poor Claude was constantly pregnant during her brief tenure as Queen Consort of France.Claude died in July 1524, aged just 24,the queen's body exhausted from her successive pregnancies.
Louise de France,born 9th of August 1515 and died the 21st of September 1517,she was named in honour of her grandmother,Louise de Savoie.

Born October 23rd,1516 and died on the 18th of September 1524.
The Dauphin François,Duc de Bretagne
Born February 28th,1518 and died on August 10th,1536

Henri II de France
Born March 31st,1519 and died on July 10th,1559.Henri succeeded his father François I as King of France in 1547.He married Catherine de Médicis in October,1533
Madeleine de France
Born on August 10th,1520 and died on July 7th,1537.Madeleine married James V in 1537 and was briefly Queen of Scots but died only weeks after arriving in Scotland.

Charles de France,Duc de d'Orléans,d'Angoulême and Chatellerault, Count of Clermont-en-Beauvais and La Marche.
Charles was born on January 22nd,1522 and died on September 9th,1545.
Marguerite de France,Duchess de Berry and Savoie.
Marguerite was born on June 5th,1523 and died on September 15th,1574.In July 1559 she was married to Emmanuel Philibert,Duke of Savoy.

The Dauphin Francois, Duc de Bretagne did not die in battle but in Lyon after drinking a glass of iced water. King Francis I was persuaded that his heir was poisoned on the orders of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V.
