Question of Hereditary Prince Alois' Future Regal Number

This may seem a bit trivial but anyway.

Will Prince Alois succeed to the throne of Liechtenstein as Prince Alois III or Alois I? I know there were two previous Princes called Aloys but is it the same name and is the Hereditary Prince Alois' simply spelt differently or is Aloys and Alois two totally different names?

Alois and Aloys are the same name just with different spellings (I believe Aloys is an older version). It's kind of like Isabel vs. Isabelle.

As such, Alois will be Alois III.
