Sarah looks wonderful as usual. www.rtb.gov.bn also has archives of Brunei tv news , including all the latest royalty news.

Its amazing to me how Sarah seems to have slipped into her many royal duties with considerable ease. I cant imagine an almost-18 year old giving audiences to ambassadors, meeting foreign officials on her own etc. Royals her age usually dont do half as much as she does. She seems to me to be one of the busiest members of the Bruneian royal family. Doing just as much and perhaps even more than Crown princesses much older than her do.
She does seem to receive quite a bit of support from her husband's family. They're not afraid of her stepping over their toes or overshadowing them, like some of the other royal families.
Good for her!

I really agree with you on that matter. I didn't really had the idea that she would directly do her own royal activities since I thought she would not perform it still because she would study.

But I was completely wrong. I really admire her for her courage and willingness to learn as a new member of the Brunei Royal Family. She is indeed a very good representative of Brunei to the whole world. She represents women of Brunei who are also liberated.

It was to be expected, considering that all the royals, young and old, studying or not, do get roped into performing public duties. I don't think they have a choice.

Young Royal couple visits Brunei Garrison Headquarters and the 2nd Battalion of Royal

March 23 - His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah Wednesday consented to visit the Brunei Garrison Headquarters and the Second Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles in Seria.
Upon arrival at the Garrison Sports Pitch in Seria, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri were welcomed by the Garrison Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Ian Rigden and Mrs. Zoe Rigden; the British High Commissioner His Excellency Andrew Caie; the British Defence Adviser Captain Paddy Watson; the Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces, Pehin Colonel Dato Haji Abdu'r Rahmani; as well as the Belait District Officer, Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yussop bin Bakar.
Shortly after their arrival at the Tuker Lines, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince received the royal salute and consented to inspect a guard of honour mounted by personnel of the Second Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles. This was followed by the signing of the souvenir book by Their Royal Highnesses.
Nearly 300 local civilians work at the Tuker Lines. His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness heard a briefing on the operations and backgrounds of the Tuker Lines. The briefing was given by Lieutenant Colonel Ian Rigden. The Association of the Brigade of Gurkhas with Brunei dates back to 1962. In addition to the resident Gurkha Infantry Battalion, specialist organisations were formed to augment the Battalion's capability.
From the Tuker Lines, His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri went on separate programmes. For His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, it was off to the Bukit Puan Bridge to observe jungle training activities and garrison capabilities. His Royal Highness was accompanied at the training ground by the Garrison Commander.
Here, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Captain J. Murray and proceeded to view a military demonstration. His Royal Highness also consented to view a Static Exhibition of the 7th Flight Army Air Corps called "Op Garron". The operation involved units in the Humanitarian Aid Mission for the tsunami victims in Aceh. His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah also consented to board a "hard hull riverine craft" used for river boat.
While His Royal Highness the Crown Prince watched jungle military training, Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Sarah consented to tour the Hornbill School nearby. On arrival, the royal visitor was greeted by the School Headmistress, Mrs. Kathy Wood. In honour of the royal visit, school children performed a variety of stage shows
comprising dances, music and art at the assembly hall. The school caters to children of the Gurkha and British army. Currently, some 270 children aged between three and eleven years old attend the school. Her Royal Highness also consented to receive a pesambah and unveiled a new plaque for the school.

From the Hornbill school, Her Royal Highness paid a visit to the Families Community Centre of the Royal Gurkha Rifles. Welcoming Her Royal Highness was the Gurkha Major Harkaraj Rai and his wife Mrs. Shreelaxmi Rai. At the centre, Her Royal Highness mingled with the wives of the Gurkha army personnel, and had the opportunity to view handicrafts by families at the Brunei Garrison.
Before luncheon at the British Officers Mess in Jalan Maulana in Kuala Belait, both Their Royal Highnesses consented to sign the visitors book. They also consented to mingle informally with officers of the Brunei Garrison and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The luncheon ended with a presentation of pesambah from members of the British Officers Mess.

She looks like Datin Faezah..perhaps it could be her?

If you have the rest of the picture you could see who else is she sitting with..that might give us a clue if it's her or her sister, Jula.

Yes I thought the same thing but the picture was too big.
Here it is
This pic's from the CP's wedding banquet.

It must be Datin Faezah's sister, Datin Jula.. she is sitting with the guests, not with the Royals. The resemblance is striking, they look very much like identical twins to me:)

Datin Jula is married to one of Prince Jefri's old friends, Pg. Yusof. It's said that Datin Faezah met Prince Sufri through her sister Jula and her husband.

yes the resemblance is hard to miss. It must be her sister then.
So does Datin Jula live in Brunei? Is she older or younger than Faezah?

CP Sarah's quite the athlete from what I've heard. And its nice to see that her life isn't just official duties and receptions and that she gets time to enjoy herself. Good for her.

Looks like Sarah's husband and mother were also at the tournament to watch her play
too bad the pics aren't big enough

Are those pleats or somekind of accessory on HRH's hair?

no, no accessory. Sarah often wears her hair in pleats. There's another picture on one of the previous pages with the same hairstyle.

I actually don't know anything else about Datin Jula other than she's married to a friend of Prince Jefri's. I assume she lives in Malaysia, since that pic is of her was taken at the Malaysian Grand Prix function.

Maybe someone else in the forum might know more.
