No reason was given for the divorce when the announcement was made. The Royal family of Brunei is incredibly private. The sultan's second wife, Mariam, was stripped of all her titles but she did receive perhaps the biggest divorce settlement in history!flying said:why sultan divorce to his second wife?
You are right about it, it is even quiet dificult/rare to find websites about this royal family, but I have some:~*~Humera~*~ said:The Royal family of Brunei is incredibly private.!

Her name is Datin Faezah and I don't know whether she has children or not.~*~Humera~*~ said:a picture of his wife
Can someone please tell me her name, and if they have any kids?
You are very true, Cutie. They are Brunei noble and it is extremely very difficult to identify them through the net unless by someone who is very related to the royal circle of Brunei. Even the information on some members of the Brunei Royal Family is very difficult to find.cutie said:The are probably brunei nobles. i think it would be even more difficult to find any info.
As far as I know the title "Datin" in Malaysia is conferred during Sultan's investiture and official birthday to commoners who have contributed for the service to the country. "Datin" can be approximately like "Lady". Datin usually conferred to women who serve in government circle. She is regarded as woman who is elite but not necessarily being royal or noble. Perhaps the same thing apply to Yang Mulia Datin Hajjah Faezah.~*~Humera~*~ said:Does anyone know what Yang Mulia Datin Hajjah Faezah translates into? I mean what's Faezah's title? On the Bruneian English news sites she's not identified as "Her Royal Highness" or "Princess"
Yeah I was guessing he could be a nephew of the Sultan, either the son of one of the sultan's brothers or his sisters, perhaps Princess Masna. The website I got that picture from didnt mention his name but did identify him as "HRH" so he must be a member of the immediate royal family.cutie said:Humera,
I think the young man could be the son of prince mohammed. Just a guess.
I believe from the Datin title she has, she is from Malaysia. Faezah is a typical name in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Headcover is not a big deal in Brunei, unlike in Irancutie said:why does faezah have no headcovering, no title, no orders?
cutie said:Maybe he is not the son of princess masna, because he is an HRH.
