Will there be a celebration for The Sultans's birthday this July? They've just held a big celebration for Princess Majeedah's wedding. I wonder if they will make a huge birthday party just like last years..

hi all, I m posting these pics of Princess Faezah, wife of Pengiran Sufri. (sorry for the lack of formal address of names). Got these from my friend but unfortunately I dont know the authenticity of her source nevertheless, enjoy.
My friend also said that Princess Faezah is the aunt of a Malaysian young actress, Fazura. Again, i do not know the authenticity of that matter, but perhaps, someone can confirm that later? The pic of the actress is the last one, u can see the resemblance.

Berinai Ceremony For HRH Princess Hajah Nor’ain’s Son
...the groom, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Kadir... wore a tradition green and gold songket, complimenting well as he sat at the white, cream and pale green dais.
...A similar ceremony was also held for the bride, Yang Mulia Dayang Hjh Norashikin, soon after Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Kadir left the ceremony. The bride was dressed in green and gold songket, similar to the groom. Brudirect
The groom is the Sultan's nephew (second son of his sister Princess Norain)
The Berinai ceremony usually takes place the night before the actual wedding. During the ceremony, the hands of the bride and groom are stained with henna.

Thanks Humera for those lovely pictures.
I lovo to see all of The Sultan's daughters together. Sarah looks fresh and very pretty on her dress
About the happy couple, I love the bride's tiara. Lovely... Is it belong to her or to Royal Family? Will she get a royal title? IMO, their wedding attire seems similar with Princess Majeedah and husband's wedding attire. It seems that they have the same tone colour.
BTW, I've some questions. Is the Ma'wassalihin a palace or his (the groom) private residence? Who is Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Maharaja Setia Laila Diraja Sahibul Irshad Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Rahim? I didn't see Princess Majeedah's husband on those pics. Were he present?
Thanks for all

Looking at the the photo...it does not strike me as a happy occasion. As usual Azrinaz seems to be pulling a long face..
The bride's makeup is too thick - she's look better during Berinai (think it also got something to do on how she put on the headscarve, it happen to Majeedah too).
And if they can't afford to have a few more gold flower for her bouquet, then maybe should do away with it and replace with fresh flower or mix some fresh/artificial flower in (just like what Princesses Majeedah and Huda Bahaaul did). She looka like she's holding a gold flower lamp.
By far, I think the prettiest bride of the Brunei Royal Family is Princess Sarah. She look so sweet and fresh even when she is not smiling during her wedding.

I agree about the headscarves. I prefer the way Sarah put the headscarves on her wedding.

Sorry, but Princess Sarah seems very happy and fresh to me. Maybe some people mistakes her modesty with hunhappiness, but I think it is not the case. She is my ideal of Princess: intelligent and bright, but also discret. It is clear she is not one of those who likes that people could srpead rumors about her life...so, she doesn't gives any pretext for people inventing them. She is very elegant, but also modest. She is young and happy, but at the same time fresh and innocent in the good sense of the word. Happyness doesn't means to "have fun" (if this is to have fun) in wild parties.
For me, this Princess is one of my favorites in nowadays Royal world. I'm sad I can't find one like her among the Western ones (excepting Infanta Cristina), for I'm a western, after all!!!
Vanesa.

As for many years, the palace is open for public to visit during the new year celebration which is around next weekend (date yet to be confirm, should be around the 13 till 15 oct). The public get the chance to meet up with the sultan, the queen and all the rest of the royal families.... so i guess this year should be the same... anyone interested? up close encounter with the whole royal families...

Azrinas attend the first day (Aidil Fitri day) of open house as well as other members of the royal family, I watch on TV that she joined Queen Saleha greeted their guests. But she didn't show up for the rest three days of festifities. Not only Azrinas, I also didn't see Princess Majeedah on the last three days of open house.
Maybe they have other things to do (sounds weird)
