The Pope Francis supports the civil laws on gay unions but clarifies that "marriage is between a man and a woman".
Quote:
During the flight back from Bratislava to Rome, Pope Francis has admitted that gay civil union laws "seek to help the situation of so many people with a different sexual orientation, and it is important that they be helped, but without giving something that, by its nature, the Church does not give ", which is religious marriage as a sacrament.
