It's only a preview. Guillaume talks about the importance of national day and Stéphanie says that becoming a Princess of Luxembourg is nothing you can learn but instead something that has to come from the heart. The full report will be shown on Tuesday, I will provide a translation on Luxarazzi.

I did above. Guillaume talks about how important national day is for the Grand Ducal Family and the whole of Luxembourg. It is the most important day of the year and a day when everyone comes together to celebrate the country. He was also very curious about the newly introduced events (the official ceremony). Stéphanie said that becoming a Princess of Luxembourg is nothing you can really learn but something that you have to feel with your heart.

Thank you Sydney. So now, less than two years after becoming a member of the GDF, she has mastered the language. That is something even her formidable mother-in-law has not done in 33 years.
Good job, Stephanie!

If you speak German, Luxembourgish, which is really more of a German dialect, is really easy topick up. I noticed she speaks Luxembourgish more like German. But still kudos.
I believe Maria Theresa relies more on her French in Luxembourg, which many Luxembourgers also do.

I've heard it's just the opposite. Ordinary Luxembourgers prefer their dialect. In shops and stores in the Grand Duchy, French and English are used with tourists and German is very rarely spoken at all.
HGD Guillaume almost always uses Luxembourgish for interviews and when he is out and about, interacting with people.

That's exactly what I mean Moonmaiden. French is always prefered to German and Luxembourgish is prefered to French. I lived there for couple of years so I speak from experience.
But Luxembourgish is really easy to learn when you know German, which HGD Stephanie does.

In Think your info is not correct; GD Maria Teresa is speaking Lëtzebuergesch.
I heard it a few times on TV, when she met childeren and Older People in Luxembourg.
