I saw another photo and I wasn’t sure if her right ear lobe looked sore or not which might explain the lack of earrings. It is unusual as they are generally massive!

You may be correct about her ear being red. I know I have caught my mask on some of my earrings taking off the mask. Lessened learned, don’t pull the mask off, pick up elastic and lift over the ear not catching the earring! Hope she did not tear the ear, IF that did happen to her. Queen Maxima looks lovely in the green dress. A favorite. Moo

Really lovely look on Queen Máxima today was just thinking that November is Oslo would be rather chilly.

I like the dress and jewellery but for me it looks unprepared wearing this dress in Norway in November.(Of course she was prepared) With the cape/scarf it looks messy imo. She should have worn a different dress with a matching coat/ Jacket or at least something with long sleeves

I see what you mean! She seems to not like wearing coats, always on the shoulders etc? Unless the thinking was they wouldn’t be outside for long. A different coat would looked better but she looked very elegant inside!

It is a pity Máxima has not followed her mother-in-law's habit (and her own as Princess) to wear a morning ensemble, a midday ensemble and an evening ensemble. Now she (and many other royal ladies) no longer change halfway the day.

I agree. Lovely as the dress is, a smart coat is what she should have been wearing for the arrival.

It is. It's an evening dress that she chose to wear( impractically at that) without a coat had she worn a coat over the dress it would have been fine. However whereas everyone was dressed for a daytime event she looked dressed for an evening affair.
