Marie has about 6 weeks to go before she delivers - she looks wonderful as she awaits her baby. The brown dress and tan coat were good choices for the event, very polished. Hopefully, she won't go back to that slinky blue dress, not in public, anyway.

WOW! Marie looked woderful today. She is a pretty girl!

Though the coat was lovely, did anyone notice that the sleeves were wrong? I believe they were sewn on the wrong side, as the cuffs are going backwards. They're coming forward from around the back, look awkward.

Beautiful look. The dress is perfect & I like the lossness of it. The color is a great choice for Marie IMO, it does suit her. The coat is an interesting match, though I think its a cheap copy of Burberry (hate the coats fabric, too shiny) looks good with the brown and dress.

Hair looks very neat and nicely done.
You're right, it is a copy of Burberry - Day Birger et Mikkelsen made it, but I don't know about cheap that's for each person to judge, but it's about 500 USD.

I don't think the sleeves of the coat were wrong or that this happened accidentaly.I have seen many jackets & coats with sleeves designed like that. It's another trend obviously

If it's a new trend in cuffs, I must say that I don't find anything attractive in it. It comes across as a mistake.

If the baby is due in early May, Princess Marie has only about 6 or 7 weeks to go before delivering. This is not the time for fitted clothes, like the ones she was pictured trying on in Geneva - pretty invasive pictures at that.

I was actually at the event - standing outside grabbing photographs for my blog :whistling: - and the coat looked a lot more impressive in real life than it did in the pictures. The fabric looked much less shiny in real life.

March 10 - Marie attending a meeting in a black coat and black pants.

I need a better picture to judge her, because the whole outfit looks boring as I see it here.I only wish this bag would be a Chanel 5.55!!

I have not been totally impressed with Marie's fashion while pregnant. While her figure has changed and her tummy has certainly grown, her arms, legs and everywhere else have remained thin. She is very lucky!
However, I don't believe that this gives her the leeway to wear such tight and provacative clothing. She has never seemed to wear the correct undergarments which would give her tight clothing a better fit.
She proved before her pregnancy and now during her pregnancy that she has a long way to go in dressing well. Her tight pregnancy dresses are an embarassment - and - again she looks like she is wearing a sausage casing. Leave that look to all of the Hollywood starlets.
Maybe she is economizing as those tight dresses will fill in the wardrobe very well post-pregnancy.

She needs to remember that she has become a princess and a public figure. Her look needs to reflect as much. She needs a polished, refined look whenever she might be seen, whether it's an official event or not.

I am beginning to wonder if she will Ever realize that she is a Princess and should dress like one! I would have thought by now that she would have polished her look but obviously not. Sad, really, as she has everything going for her as everyone has said on this thread! I'm afraid that she has a long way to go....

Princess Marie has been fortunate to maintain a slim frame as her pregnancy advances. However, figure revealing clothes should not be the order of the day this far into her pregnancy, particularly given her royal status. She is the object of much attention, and, like it or not, should heed a more conservative, classic style, particularly when attending any kind of official event that will have photographers present.

Surely there is someone in Denmark who can guide her into more appropriate clothing choices.

Of course, there is someone:she should just hire Mary's stylist...

Absolutely she needs a stylist I completely agree and if she alredy has on they need to be fired as they miss more than they hit. She is also not very tall so I really admire the way she maintains her figure it must be hard work.

How about Prince Joachim? Could he not have recommended something besides the tight fitting blue dress, much as husbands do when they see their wives in something less than desirable? After all, he is there to escort her and sees the clothes before they set foot out the door.

Absolutely, rylt! I couldn't agree more. Surely his input would help tremendously. I always listen to my husband's comments as they mean alot to me and I take them to heart. Between Joachim and a Good stylist surely Marie could improve and look stylish and well put together. I just wish she would hurry! :)

I think the baby will arrive before that happens. However, there will be plenty of time to get her wardrobe sorted out after the birth and through the summer months. Cross fingers.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, rylt, but I am Not holding my breath! She has had , IMHO, ample time to get herself together and she still seems to just not get it. It will be interesting....

Awful hairdo ... and can't Marie wear any other color besides this blue/violet color?
All of her evening gowns and much of her daytime clothing seem to be this color.

wow, Marie, dress, hair style beautiful, thanks for photos

first thing I thought when I saw the pictures

I don't like the dress at all. Looks like lingerie, the picture shows her bra or whatever there is underneath.

The blue or purple nail polish is beyond tacky! :nonono:

You are so right! Most all of her evening gowns look like lingerie and that nail polish - I can't believe how cheap Marie can look - what a shame -

That's harsh. I don't think she looks cheap at all.
Yes, the nailpolish is takcy and does indeed look cheap.. but that's it.

Imo the dress is flattering for her (when I first saw the pictures I was surprised how slender she looks.. you nearly don't see her belly).
The cut and the colour of the dress suit her and I don't mind to see her this colour again.
The hairdo isn't my cup of tea... but still looks better then loose hair+tiara. ;)

All in all Marie looked nice last night.

I hate to disagree, but Marie - who is so beautiful - does not have good taste. Her evening gowns are all the same - the same color, the same style and the material always looks the same. Most of the time her clothes don't seem to fit correctly (too tight) and she seems to have no knowledge of the correct undergarments which should be worn.
She's got the potential, she just needs expert guidance.

Marie's hair style was not flattering - she looked like she put it up in a hurry. I see nothing wrong with Mary's loose hair - it was well groomed - she has beautiful hair.
