I don’t think that length suits her. Also the belt is too wide for her making her look thick around the middle. Doesn’t bring out the best for her though I like the scallops around the neckline, she has a very nice chest area.
 
I love this black dress, a great neckline to add interest.:flowers:

Best dressed of the two IMO. A better evening look. Though length a bit off.

Marie looks lovely at the AIDS event and I like that she's wearing a red coat. Not as keen on her second outfit tonight.

:previous: Not a fan of Marie's wide trousers, but the rest of her outfit is nice nevertheless.
 
One of Princess Marie's best looks in years,previous New Years Court have been hit or miss.
 
Not a fan. She looks like a school girl (well maybe a little older; but definitely on the younger side) dressing up in a Victorian dress.
 
I think it is the same gown she wore for her very first New Years Court in 2009 when she was pregnant with Prince Henrik.

Nice to see she recycled this maternity gown! One of her best :flowers:
 
Allow me to disagree… She looks poorly and sloppy dressed. The gown doesn't do her any favour. The fabric looks wrinkled as if it had not been propperly ironed, her posture is bad, the tiara seems to be falling from her head and her earrings are too much… One of her worst appearences...
 
I love the colour on her and even the style. Beautiful.

But like Mary not a fan of the fabric. In her case close up looks too shiny and cheap.

I have to agree I, although in some pictures it doesn't appear so shiny. The color is nice and looks lovely on her. I think her hair would look better up with the tiara.
