It's...

Ehhm...

There may be worlds where Haakon's attire is high fashion, but not in this galaxy!

There are men from only two places in the whole world who can get away with wearing shorts, socks up to the knees and boots: Bavarians and Norwegians.
It is as we all know, not only tradition but mandatory (in Bavaria since 1605 BTW) for Bavarian and Norwegian men once they stray off the roads. - In leather-shorts, dark leather-shorts!
The thingies Haakon are wearing are not leather-shorts.

And men, as in no men at all, not even Liberace should he ever have ventured out in nature, carry a bouquet of flowers while wearing shorts.
It's impossible! A man cannot wear shorts and carry flowers with anything remotely resembling grace as is evident from the picture with Haakon. Something to do with bony naked knees.

- There can be only one explanation: A malicious female conspiracy. Notice the laughing women in the background. :ermm:
They took advantage of this poor, defenseless man. Shame on them, I say!

What is it with Haakon and shoes?!?

He even looks happy.

I wonder if he is a secret member of the TRF and takes delight in pulling our legs?
N

I will have to tell Grandfather the Shoemaker to make brand new shoes for Haakon.

Ask him to make the shoes unique and shoes that will stand out and be talked about. Perhaps this is Haakon's way of being a "wild and crazy guy"? Just like I'll never ever forget Prince Henrik of Denmark's "Zorba the Grape" outfit which was one among others that stood out. :D

Yes its an odd look. Also is he wearing a watch with a wide light blue plastic band.
What if we all post him for Christmas pictures of black shoes. To give him the hint. Ha!

He looks a lot more relaxed than he used to. Then again, as Muhler explained, he is, after all, a Swedish man wearing a suit. It's just that he doesn't look like he's wearing a straight straightjacket anymore.

On a more personal note, there are few other men, royals or otherwise, that can make a double-breasted suit look that good.

Daniel... not one non blue tie in sight.? Even William has improved his tie game lol.
I do like the green jacket for hiking. Green looks good on Daniel

Well the King seem to have fun with all the colors. Maybe once in a while the Queen let him get wild?.

^^^^^ Actually that makes sense. One day of the year when he can make his own "fashion" choice and make his countrymen and woman smile. Lord knows they and we need it. [emoji4]

Some Belgians wrote to the King whose Tailor is Degand asking him to be dressed less casual ..

That's a very dashing rain coat on Frederik
