Empress Masako's Fashion and Style Part 1: May 2019 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
The gray suit and hat make an elegant pairing for the ceremony. In general, I don't like a bumper hat. I have rarely seen anyone look good in that style hat. However, this time I don't mind it so much.

It'a a very crisp and cool ensemble. Masako always wears these blazer and trouser combinations very well, and the color of this blazer is perfect for the start of a summer retreat.

:previous: I agree - a very fresh and summery look for Masako. She wears it incredibly well.

I am inlove of this outfit and most especially with her bag!!!

Masako looks breathtaking in the traditional kimono! It's always nice to see her.

I am really loving the style the Empress has chosen for herself. Stylish and appropriate and always looking lovely. So nice to see her so happy.

I almost always love Masako's pants suit+flowing scarf combinations, and this lovely ivory version is especially beautiful.

Masako is looking lovely and elegant. I am loving these newer silhouettes, and am enjoying seeing the beginnings of what will clearly become her working uniform.

I always like Masako in the white shades, but that coral suit she wore at the beginning of the month was a great color on her, too.

Thank you for listing these all in one place, Prisma. Empress Masako looked beautiful during all of the enthronement celebrations. The different kimono that she wore were especially lovely, particularly the blue one for the November 5 tea party. I also thought that the combination of the long, double strand of pearls with the peach silk dress she wore for the November 18 Daikyo-no-gi banquet was a sublime combination, and a color she should wear often. The fabric on that dress was amazing.

I am hoping that we will see some of these dresses and gowns repeated because they all looked wonderful on her.

Thank you for the wonderful pictures.
Those kimonoes are amazing. I do wonder how she can walk in then.
