In the spring of 1995, HM the King inaugurated the world's first National City Park.
On Tuesday 11 August, HRH Prince Carl Philip inaugurates the nature photo exhibition "The National City Park 25 years" digitally.
The show is for media only and no other audience.
The exhibition is open until 13 September 2020.

Carl Philip had today a digital jury meeting in the drawing competition "The thinking hand".
"The Thinking Hand" is a drawing competition and exhibition for young artists who work with visual design in art, architecture, fashion, design, illustration, game development or other related areas. Of the entries received, ten artists are appointed to display their work.

This year's nominated artists and their works will be presented in a digital gallery on the Royal Palace's website 22 April - 22 June 2021. (..)

Carl Philip attended today a digital board meeting of Nationalmusei Vänner (The Friends of the Nationalmuseum).

Carl Philip was chosen as a member of the Board in 2021-2022 at the annual meeting of The Friends of the Nationalmuseum on 11th May.

Princess Christina was a member of the Board of The Friends of the Nationalmuseum for a long time, she was chosen to the Board in 1972.
Oscar Magnuson was a member of the Board in 2015-2021.

The Friends of the Nationalmuseum:
Was founded on March 27, 1911 by the then Crown Prince Gustav (VI) Adolf.
King Carl Gustaf is the patron
Queen Silvia is the honorary chairperson
Crown princess Victoria, princess Madeleine and princess Christina are first honorary members

Carl Philip attended today a meeting of the Design committee of Nationalmusei Vänner (The Friends of the Nationalmuseum).
 
Carl Philip visits on Monday 13th September Blekinge to draw attention to local efforts in the wake of the pandemic.
Host of the visit in Blekinge is Acting Governor Helena Morgonsköld.
Program
In the morning, a meeting with representatives of the county administrative board and the Blekinge Region about the pandemic work in the county. Infection control doctors and care staff participate.
Conversations with the rector, staff and students at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
After lunch visit the restaurant Antonio's and the event company Paraply production for conversations about the companies' situation, change and future prospects.
In the afternoon, Kvinnojouren receives and talks about challenges during the pandemic.
The visit ends at the Marine Museum for conversations about how their activities have been affected.

Carl Philip attended yesterday at the tasting of the competition menu for the Bocuse d'Or WC 2021 which takes place in Lyon 26-27 September. 24 countries compete in the Bocuse d'Or in Lyon.

On Thursday 16 September, the Chef of the Year competition took place in the Annex in Stockholm, Carl Philip sent a greeting, because he couldn't attend at the competition this year.
Information officer Johan Tegel wrote to Svensk Damtidning
"Prince Carl Philip has commitments in Norway tomorrow and therefore did not have the opportunity to attend today. But because of this, the Prince therefore instead sent a video greeting to this year's competition".
The prince will do something related to racing but more than that is not known at the moment. The court has not yet answered whether Sofia and the prince children will accompany on the trip.

It should have been easy for Svensk Damtidning to find out that Carl Philip is racing at Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia on 17-18 September at Rudskogen Motorsenter in Rakkestad in Norway.

The Thinking Hand - H.M. The King's scholarship competition for young artists is a recurring drawing competition and exhibition for young artists who work with visual design in art, architecture, fashion, design, illustration, game development or other related areas.

In connection with the King's 70th birthday in 2016, a scholarship fund for "The Thinking Hand" was established by Elisabeth and Gustaf Douglas with the aim of highlighting young professionals who work with drawing as a work tool.

On Thursday, October 7, Carl Philip visits Gotland to pay attention to local efforts during the pandemic.
The visit is hosted by Governor Anders Flanking. The County Administrative Board has designed a program focusing on health and care, education, business, culture and social activities:
Meeting with representatives of the County Administrative Board about the pandemic work in the county.
Visit to Visby hospital
Visit to Wisbygymnasiet school
Visit to a Gotland company
The visit ends with a panel discussion about Gotland's cultural life with representatives from Medeltidsveckan, Länsteatern, Svensk Form Gotland and Region Gotland's culture and leisure department.

Carl Philip visits Östergötland County on Tuesday 12 October.
Program
The visit begins at Linköping Castle, where Carl Philip will receive information about how the pandemic has affected Östergötland. Afterwards, he visits the City Mission's café in Linköping, the University Hospital in Linköping, the Visualization Center C in Norrköping and the Norrköping City Museum.
