Hello - it's my first time posting, but i wanted to share my 13-year old daughter's encounter with Prince Carl Philip this afternoon.

My daughter attends an ESF school in Hong Kong, and Prince Carl Philip visited a few of the classrooms today. My daughter is in the Individual Needs class and was delighted to talk with the prince and one of the prince's friends about having individual needs and how she is supported at school. She just sent me a text and a picture and she said, "I was so happy because he concentrated on what I was saying and he always looked at me like he cared." The photos indicated that he gave every child he spoke with the same attention and courtesy.
The ability to listen is such an incredible gift.
Very grateful to Prince Carl Philip for taking the time to listen.
(His attendants were also very kind, one talked to my daughter about curling and ice hockey...two sports that Canadians and the Swedes can appreciate!)

Carl Philip presented today the Royal Automobile Club's Motor Prince's Medal to Mattias Ekström.
The Motor Prince's Medal was established in 1975 by the Royal Automobile Club, to showcase the significance of Prince Bertil for car racing in Sweden. The medal is awarded annually to a Swedish competitor who in the previous calendar year, either in Sweden or abroad, regardless of the class in the car race, through outstanding competition results has documented superior skill or a Swedish contestant who, through a strong performance effort in a competition, performed a superior achievement.
