Because Leonore attended yesterday at the christening of Désirée Magnuson at the Royal Chapel, it is very likely that she will attend at the wedding too.

I don't think that Sofia will wear a revealing wedding dress and she is aware of this and neither will she wear an overly conservative gown. Some how I think she will strike the balance right for this important occasion. There is also a possibly that she may have received some advice regarding this situation.

Sofia's concern: Madde gives birth on the wedding day
Despite the fact that most of the wedding planning seem to be going swimmingly, there is a problem that Sofia according to data can not stop thinking about. Princess Madeleine is pregnant with her second child, who is believed to see the light at the same time as the wedding.
- On June 13, becomes Sofia's biggest day in her life. It is clear that it would take the edge off a bit of the celebration if Madeleine gives birth on the same day, a source tells to Hänt Extra and says that Sofia is worried.
Margareta Thorgren from the court has previously declared that there is a chance that the child is born in early July, which of course is several weeks after the prince's wedding. The celebrations will become tough for Madeleine as heavily pregnant.
One who looks forward to this summer's big events is Queen Silvia, who expressed her delight at the "fantastic" year, with even a grandchild and a possible new princess in the family.
- If there is a crash or not the Queen is not pondering that. She knows that she has no power over it. Silvia can not wait to become a grandmother again, says Hänt Extra´s source.

I hope its not that conservative it worked for Anne I don't see Sofia's personality in that dress. It is their wedding and if they want their nieces to be there good for them. I doubt that Sofia is worried about when Mad is due Mad has already said she will attend the wedding so she knows when she is due.

Well I think we all know that just because someone is on the calendar of the website, it doesn't mean a thing. No body has any idea if Madeleine will attend or not, not even Madeleine or her doctors. June 13th is a loooong time away, and much can change. Not that I am predicting anything awful, but she just doesn't know how she will feel. My own workaholic sister eventually allowed herself to stop work 2 weeks early when she had her first baby, I've never been as surprised about anything!

On the cover of Svensk Damtidning
Panic in the high society. Who will be invited to the wedding?
SDT1514_HiResFiles(1)
Stoppa pressarna quotes the article of Svensk Damtidning.
According to Svensk Damtidning Carl Philip and Sofia can choose their guests more freely than Victoria and Daniel. Many are waiting for an invitation because they are friends of the royal family. But that doesn't automatically guarantee that they are invited. There will be even less royals than at Victoria's wedding.
Sofia was well known of partying at Stureplan and retains some friends from that time. The guest list is limited and SD doesn't think that her friend Andreas Bardell from "Paradise Hotel"-time, celebrity hairdresser Bobby Oduncu or glamour model Elita Löfblad receive an invitation. Neither Carl Philip's ex Emma Pernald will be invited, even though she was invited to Madeleine's wedding. It is simply too sensitive to Sofia.
The wedding will be similar than Madeleine's and Chris's. The Norwegian and Danish royal family can of course expect an invitation, just like the prince's royal sponsors. Basically all Swedish royals including the King's sisters and Sofia's own family of course.
According to SD Carl Philip and Sofia socialize mostly with Sofia's friends, and believe that Sofia's friend from childhood Cajsa Larsson, make up artist William Värnild, celebrity hairdresser Marwan "Marre" Hitti and Madeleine Rahm will be invited. It is also said that from Rebecca Simonsson from "Lets Dance", Calle Schulman and PR-woman Christina Saliba will be among the guests, just like Carl Philip's friends from the studies and the military.
At the phototexts:
Both Victoria and Madeleine skipped the bridesmaids at their weddings. However, it is thought that Sofia chooses sisters Lina and Sara as bridesmaids as she stands them very close. The choice of small bridesmaids will probably fall on Carl Philip's godchildren Chloé and Anaïs Sommerlath - and Princess Estelle of course.
According to SD Sofia has a great singing voice and that's why SD thinks that Sofia will take care of some of the singing during the celebration herself. She is a big fan of Swedish pop in style of Håkan Hellström, she could choose one of the songs from his repertoire.

So...there may or may not be a couple of guests from "Paradise Hotel"? The bride could sing at her own wedding? Oh yes, this wedding will be the last word in...something.
I hope none of that paper's speculations turn out to be correct.

If their speculations are correct, the wedding sounds banal to anyone not personally connected or involved. I have found my interest in the couple's actions and decisions waning. Natural curiosity was initially stimulated, and I will likely look at her choice of dress, but overall, the whole thing feels underwhelming.

I have to admit my interest has waned also. It also did under the sheer weight and malicious and negative media attention surrounding Charlene Wittstock and Prince Albert of Monaco. I am just glad I didn't ignore the actual wedding with one of the most stunning and romantic brides and a modern day Monaco wedding special!
I also hope that the overwhelming weight of negative everything surrounding the wedding of Carl Philip and Sofia's wedding doesn't ruin it for them. I'll be tuning in or online to see whatever I can see because it is a royal wedding and they seem to provide a variety of points of interest.
Last, but not least, I'll be watching because all brides are beautiful and all grooms emotional (to a degree) and just like everyone else, these two deserve a beautiful and romantic wedding to remember all their lives.

Thank you for echoing my sentiments very eloquently. I will definitely watch the wedding and perhaps play the "who do you recognize" game I play watching royal weddings. Who attends and who doesn't has no meaning for me. Its their wedding and their day and if they choose to have Bozo the Clown and Sponge Bob in the wedding party, its their choice. Now that would be amusing wouldn't it??

Oh, but that wedding was with a ruling prince! Nothing could tarnish that! It was going to be knock-out gorgeous 'just because' of Albert's position.
Other than Carl Philip being a good-looking man (which he has always been), he has never been an exciting presence imo. I confess to liking him when he dated Emma, who was interesting in her own right. (Yes, I am an Emma-Groupie. )

I doubt it will. They're in their own bubble.

The thought of having "Sofia's friends" at wedding makes me fear the SRF risk being embarassed in front of their guests. I suggest keeping the royal invites to a minimum.

Does any one know her friends , why should they not be at the wedding. I'm sure they are all adults who are able to act correctly. Just because they are not royal doesn't meant they won't have manners and be respectful.

The image of the SRF, beginning with the bad publicity generated by King Carl Gustav, has taken a real pounding in recent years. What is very badly needed here is a major dose of gravitas. And I'm sorry but friends of the controversial bride who have starred in snuff films for Playboy is not going to accomplish that. All of the tiaras and fairy tale castles and churches in the world will not make up for a guest list like that!
Just take a look at how some of the Italian tabloids are discussing/describing Sweden's soon-to-be newly minted princess:
Svezia: il principe e l'ex pornostar - Mondo - ANSA.it
"The Prince and the Porn Star" (Italian Mondo)
Svezia: il principe e l'ex pornostar - Mondo - ANSA.it
"Sofia: From Topless To The Kingdom" (Italy, La Republicca)
Svezia, da ex pornostar a principessa: la favola di Sofia - Social News - QuotidianoNet - Notizie in tempo reale "Sofia's Fairytale: From Porn Star to Princess" (Italy, Quotidiano)
Granted these are tabloids whose business it is to come up with the catchiest headline. But if Sofia is as intelligent and as sensible as she is said to be, she will disinvite certain "types" from this wedding. If for no other reason than out of a desire to shield her new in-laws from as much embarrassment as possible.
JMHO.
