Had completely missed this visit. I guess the Dutch media is now so used to the queen making such UN visits that they don't deem it necessary to pay much attention to it.

Any word by the Royal House about sustainability and carbon footprint of mankind is 100% untrustworthy since Madam "The Special UN Representative" has (and still is) cris-crossing the globe in an unbelievable frequency.

Totally out of the palace windows has gone, what was simply possible during the Pandemy: contacts via Teams, Zoom, whatever.

And yep: totally exposing themselves for 100% justified criticisms on the globetrotting royals. Madam "The Special UN Representative" better ends her hobbies and focus on what she is lavishly paid for: being active for the Royal House.

Clearly you don't work in Development. In the type of countries QM works in, Zoom only gets you so far. We always have to fly in to maintain relationships and make progress. It's not because Europe has embraced Zoom etc that it's the same for Africa or Asia.
At my organisation we are flying like never before because we need to make progress after 2 years of very marginal gains.

I for one I am in awe of her energy and dedication to her causes and all the hats that she wears. She seemed like a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter while holding down 2 incredible time consuming careers.
