Willem was still in The Netherlands yesterday, so I guess only Amalia en Alexia are in Argentina.

I'm soooo looking forward to this visit. It think it will wonderful to see Máxima in her own country. It may sound stupid, but everytime I visit the region of the Netherlands were I am born I feel so toroughly happy (I don't live there anymore and I probably won't live there again in future...sigh ), so I think one can not imagine what Máxima must feel when she is returning to her home country. I think she must be delighted!

Princess Máxima will visit Jujuy Province on Sunday 4 and Monday 5 November. She'll arrive to Jujuy [the capital city] at 16:00 on Sunday in a private jet in order to visit endeavors in the heartland and to meet with province governor Eduardo Fellner. In Maimará, 80km north of the capital city, the Princess will visit CauQueVa aboriginal communities cooperative, where potatoes, vegetables and handcraft are produced. CauQueVa officials forwarded a fax with the Princess' official schedule, sent by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Argentina.

The Princess will then visit Purmamarca, at the foot of Siete Colores hill, one of the most beautiful of Humahuaca ravine. The town was built around its 1648 central church, and Máxima will stay there for the night.

On Monday, her suite will travel to the town of Perico, 35km south of the city capital. There, the Princess will take part in a reception and a work meeting at the Banco Mundial de la Mujer [Women's World Banking] branch office. She'll then visit two clients of this bank, a broom manufacturer and a potato chips producer.

Later, she'll meet with various clients at the Feria de Minoristas de Perico [Perico's Retailers Fair] and with the town mayor Rolando Ficoseco. After what she'll leave for San Salvador de Jujuy, where at 12:00 she'll take part in a reception and in an exhibition at the Banco Mundial de la Mujer office, and then have lunch with governor Fellner.

The Princess, who's travelling with an entourage of eleven people, including two assistents, security personnel, employees of the Dutch Embassy in Buenos Aires, members of the Argentinean Information Service and representatives of Dutch financial institutions, will leave Jujuy airport to Buenos Aires on Monday around 15:45.

i think only an apartment, the caption only says "dwelling" so it doesn't tell much.
but, is this the same apartment when they showed when Maxima wed WA, and the tv showed her parents watching at inside an apartment?

yes, they are apartments, you could own a whole story or a half story (we call "piso" or "semipiso", if the apartments are big.
In Buenos Aires, the city, most people live in apartments like that.

posted by Lotte from BRMB :

A rough translation of a Diario Hoy article:

Princess Máxima congratulated Argentinean potato producers, members of a cooperative.

The Princess arrived on Sunday at 16.45 to the capital city of Jujuy province, where she was welcomed by the Minister of Economy, Miguel Rioja, and around 300 locals, mostly women and children. She then travelled to Maimará (3,000 inhabitants) where she was received by Javier Rodríguez, CauQueVa cooperative's coordinator, Edmundo Chuychuy, its president, and around 200 people at the town's old rail station. Also took part in this meeting Máxima's personal secretary, Yvette Van Eechoud and representatives of three banks: Marilou van Goldstein (Triodos Bank), Diederik Laman Trip (ING Bank) and Arnold Kuijpers (RaboBank).

Máxima asked technical questions related to microcredit and expressed interest in production levels, slowness, impact of credit in production and interest rates. During the meeting, the Princess acted as an interpreter of Dutch and English to the bankers accompanying her. They were offered tea and biscuits.

When, upon leaving, she was offered a basket with many varieties of Andean potatoes, which are cultivaded in very high altitudes with low humidity, she asked with a smile for recipes.

She further went to San Pedrito to meet with the cooperative's credit committee at the home of Delia Silvera, where she was welcomed by locals playing typical instruments. Upon arriving at the dwelling, the Princess passed by a lettuce field and warned the photographers "not to step on the plantation." Silvera offered her a leather belt and a small flower bouquet.

Máxima again asked how producers get access to credit. Many of them are illiterate and unable to fill out a credit form. She also asked them what their wishes are and they asnwered they need adapted tools in order to have better products and export them. When the Princess asked whether they would like to have a savings bank they said "yes", but also expressed their fears. They added that they don't think about their own future, but about that of their children and grandchildren.

The princess waved very warmly to locals and let herself be photographed with them everywhere she went. However, she hasn't had contact yet with the 20 Argentinean and 12 Dutch journalits that follow her.
