I'm so excited!!

Does anyone know, will the baby's name be announced right away, or will we have to wait until the christening like with the Danish babies?

A call to our Dutch or Dutch-speaking members - does this article mean that the baby is already on the way, the childbirth has begun?! :stuart: :w00t:

The title translates to "Maxima for labour to Bronovo"

Thanks dazzling and crm2317 for translation. :flowers:
And sorry for false alarm, I'm in the same fever as everyone here - can't wait till the baby is finally here.

Bronovo is a strange name but it is no abbrevation or something.

The hospital is named after Lady Sara Catharina de Bronovo who founded the hospital in 1865.

Old building

Thanks for that Henri M! Maybe Amalia was given her first name after the hospital she was born in :ROFLMAO:

No, it's not like in Denmark! Amalia's and Alexia's names were announced about two days after they were born ...

Probably one or two days after the birth when Willem-Alexander registers the birth. This was the case with Amalia and Alexia but in the case of the children of Constantijn and Laurentien the name was announced with the birth.

Princess Maxima in hospital for birth

Tuesday 10 April 2007
Princess Maxima was admitted to the Bronovo hospital in The Hague on Tuesday afternoon to await the birth of her third child, the state information service RVD announced. Crown prince Willem-Alexander is with his wife at the hospital. Sources told ANP that Maxima's parents have also arrived from Argentina. read full article & source here

Its amazing that nobody ever knows the couple is in the hospital until the royal house announces it. Never pictures of cars leaving home or arriving. Unlike with Leonor, Ingrid Alexandra or Sverre Magnus where the cars were pictured.

When were the barricades placed outside the hospital?

This is so exciting, I hope everithing is going to be alrigth, every minute close us to the birth.

Were they taken to hospital near the date given of giving birth? if then then the press would have already know to be there a day or two earlier. Maxima is about 2weeks early.

Ha NOS any tv online? Can you give us the link?
Thanks,!! This is sooo exiting

Yes and the only one who was born when Prince Claus was still alive.

Hi, everyone so glad I'm online and ready for baby Netherlands. I just got home from classes so I'll put off other things to wait with all of you. So happy she didn't have the baby while I was at class. This is actually my first babywatch.
