I think that Maxima's hair is probably too dry from all the processing (ducking the blows). At least that is what it looks like in the pictures.When she curls her hair it looks quite nice.

Yes Alisa, obiously the royal houses has gotten together to get a good deal on them, sort of a buy two get one pair for free. Spain doesent seem to be in on the deal though:p , well, I shal watch what I say or Im sure you will dig up a photo of Letizia in them as well

I dont know why they bug me but I just dont find it attractive at all to have shiny legs when there is nothing of the rest of the outfit that is shiny.

Maximas suit however is one of her better, very beautiful and I like the brooch and the shoes. I would love to see her color her hair darker and give it a good cut though

In my opinion she's been off the mark of late, but this is a very lovely outfit. I must agree with those who question her hair. She needs to chop off half off it--it looks unhealthy and over processed.

I think Maxima looks really good and elegant except for her hair.I don´t like Maxima´s hari this way.

But I think Maxima looks so slim.No sign that she is pregnant again.

I think all of the pictures of Willem and Maxima are great. Maxima is lovely and to me, she doesn't look like she's 33. I really had her age at around 26 or 27. These are pictures of her at one of the projects that are sponsored by the foundation Appeltjes van Oranje, on which she serves as Chairperson.

I hope she sees these pictures and decides that "Let's do something different with my hair" day shouldn't ever be repeated! The stray chunk of hair is not a good look for anyone and acceptable only when you are cleaning your house or doing yard work -- certainly not when you are a Crown Princess out performing a royal duty.

It must've been Crown Princess purple day. I noticed Letizia was wearing a slightly less deep shade of purple at the military parade in Spain and here is Maxima wearing purple, too. (Wonder if Mary is wearing purple pyjamas while recuperating from her operation? :p )

I love Maxima's outfit from the christening. The shawl color red looks great on her. The plaid suit is flattering and stylish, and good for Fall. I also like the way she layered the shawl over the suit collar. Her hair is up, stylish and neat, but not too tight. (I agree with many of the posters here that her hair is definitely getting over-processed, over-straightened.) All in all, one of my favorite outfits on her.

One comment: why does she hold Amaila so awkwardly?

I noticed after someone else noticed this from other pictures of her with Amalia.
I think she is a loving mother, and sometimes she holds her right (like in the Argentina pix),

but every now and then she still holds her awkwardly. WA does a consistently better job of holding the baby.
