"Frisia" is the name of a company that sells mortgages/lends money here in Holland, so I doubt it

Claudia is the first Princess of Orange in the Nassau-dynasty

The first Princess of Orange in the Nassau dynasty was Claudia de Châlon d'Arlais, Princesse d'Orange (1498-1521), daughter of Jean de Châlon d'Arlais, Prince d'Orange and Philiberte de Luxembourg-Ligny.
In 1515 Claudia married Hendrik III of Nassau and brought the principality of Orange into the Nassau-dynasty. Since then their lineage up to Queen Beatix is known as the Orange-Nassau line.

Alicia is still my favourite name for the little baby. It's a beautiful name and starts on 'A'.
I'm not sure how common it is in the Netherlands though.

I read in the newspaper "De Telegraaf" they've asked readers to come up with names, and apparently "Anastasia" came number one, with "Julia" number two and "Alexandra" number three...
The article mentions that the names of the little princess have even kept some readers awake during the night, and gives an example of a reader who dreamt that she was going to be called "Albertine Agnes"

Sigh...are you sharing your dreams with 'De Telegraaf' now Henri?

The name Alicia would be to weird, considering that the other illegitemate daughter of the late Prince Bernhard goes by that name.

You are right Marengo, I haven't thought about Prince Bernhard's daughter. That may make Alicia a very unlikely choice, which is a pity, because I like it a lot.

Ah shucks...but none-the-less I shall cling to the tiny little ray of hope that her name will be Princess Katelijn (or Princess Lijsbeth )

Ooooow.... how could I forget those two Van Vollenhovens...?
Their babies are always a bit out of my eyesight.
That makes 4 Julianas and 7 Bernhards. Overseeing the male dominance in the previous generation not so weird.

??? Not that I know of. My only favourite is Abertina-Agnes. I haven't seen it in De Telegraaf unless it was mentioned here.

Every daughter of bernhard and Juliana had one son who had Bernhard in its name. If all the 6 grandsons of Bernhard and Juliana who are father of a daughter had only one daughter who has Juliana in her names there would be more Julianas than Bernhards.

I hope they choose Claudia after Claus, or maybe Juliana or even Julia, if Juliana is too old-fashioned. Margarita would be cute as well.
I don't think they will go after the A-ia again, sorry.
