She is such a beautiful womam, but her hair is becoming more and more like Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden's for me...it's driving me crazy, it never looks truly great because it always looks so over processed!

I think Maximas hair is much worse than Victorias. (which is healthy only too long and too often in a ponytail)
Her outfit is young and sort of casual and that is OK for the event she was going to, BUT the hair looks worse than ever, it doesent even look like she has brushed it and dont even get me started on those dark roots.
Her smile is a 10 as always:)

Larzen I completely agree...my comment about Victoria's hair only meant it annoys me because it's always in a ponytail, not that it looks unhealthy!
As for Maxima's-the dark roots give her hair the over processed looks. She needs to return to her natural hair color for a bit. Give her hair sometime to relax and grow.

Maxima looks really great, we love her cothes!! The hair looks nice too, except from the colour - she should colour it again or let the dark grow out :)

Maxima is a lovely woman with a lovely smile, but her hair really is g-d awful and getting worse.
More substantially, now that her official introduction period is officially over (or so I understand) I look forward to seeing her activities.

Maxima's hair is looking more and more unkept at each public appearance she makes. Last week with the purple oufit where her hair was half falling out of its ponytail or whatever and this week with the wind blown hair all over the place. And her roots are very bad, very obvious.
What do you mean that her "official" introduction is now over? She's been married for several years now and has even given birth to the heir to the Dutch throne and yet she isn't "official"?

Maxima has been Princess for only 2 years. I think it is save to say that her introductionary period (getting familiar with all aspects of the Dutch society) is over now after this Council of State meeting. She will be taking on alot more engagements now.

correct Alisa. The goal of the introductionperiod was to get her aqcuinted with all elements in the dutch society. And learning everything about the dutch history, traditions, politics, law, economy, etc etc etc. Quite a lot professors helped her with this.
Here a picture of Maxima today, during her investure.. she looked marvelous! And I might add that the queen looks VERY elegant as well.

King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and The Oranje Fonds
This was posted by henri.m on BRMB on December 16, 2005
HRH Princess Máxima of the Netherlands made an unannounced visit to the winner of the 'Apple of Orange' 2005, the price of the Orange Fund in Zwolle
The 'Oranje Fonds' was created in 2002 when it was presented to Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima on the occasion of their wedding. They are the patrons and are also closely involved in the Fund and its area of activity. In the year it was founded, the Fund merged with the Juliana Welfare Fund, which has been active in the social sector since 1948. The Prince and Princess are actively involved in the operations and activities of the Orange Fund. They both attend the award ceremony of the Appeltjes van Oranje and indeed the Princess actually presents the prizes. Princess Máxima visits the winners personally and speaks extensively with the originators and participants.
now, the pictures from ANP :
