Today, September 24, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has attended the Burendag 2011 in Apeldoorn.

Burendag (Neighbours Day) is an initiative of the Oranje Fonds and the coffee brand Douwe Egberts
where activities are organized to help residents to get in contact with each other.

Princess Máxima,Co-Patron,visited the "Children make Music" project of the Orange Foundation in Utrecht this morning.

The Children Make Music program was announced by the Princess in may at the time of her birthday.Meanwhile the Fund has selected 31 organisations that do receive funding for projects in the field.Today was the first exchange day of the selected organisations where they met and,ofcourse,exchanged experiences.Great program,I think.

Thank you Iceflower for this post. Crown Prince Willem-Alexander looks rather jolly here although I do hear he has quite a humorous side to him. Crown Princess Maxima looks lovely her in her chocolate suit. I do like the darker shaded pockets on the jacket. Adds a very elegant touch.

The concert was a project of the Orange fund btw, the fund that WA and Máxima received for their wedding. The project wants to stimulate children to make music, princes máxima started the project on her 40th birthday. 3100 children (+3) were present.
