I also find it remarkable and down-to-earth, since Máxima hadn't been able to spend Christmas in Argentina with her family for years.
It is not yet known if she (the Queen) will meet President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner or for how long she will stay after New Year's Day. The article says that the rest of the family will stay in the Patagonia until mid-January. (What about Amalia's classes then?):

Well, apparently the harassment stopped when they arrived to Villa La Angostura. According to this article from La Nación, the local media is very quiet, not making them unconfortable in any way, not making any comments on the presence of the RF. They even said (at a local radio) 'we don't know where Máxima is'.

I think its the same babysitter from the Netherlands. Of course I'm not sure, but last time they came here(2006) the Dutch babysitter came to Argentina with them

I would think like you I would bring the same one, not somebody new, the kids I am sure feel very confortable with the same babysitter and I don't think it would be wise to change her for some weeks, but I must say the girls in the photo looks very Argentinean, unless she has a pemanent Argentinean babysitter, which would be good because it would be another way for the girls to listen more spanish with the argentinean accent! but of course, all this is speculation, i do not know if we can know the true?.....

Máxima's bodyguard hits a photographer and a journalist
This morning, the Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima took Princess Ariane to the hospital becuase she was not feeling well. They remain an hour inside the hospital, and when they were going into the car, a bodyguard started hitting one of the photographer and a journalist becuase they were trying to take a photo of the Princess. Máxima was in shock and her husband started driving back to their house. After this, the jounalist and photographer went to the police station to report this incident.

The hit reporter claims that they had talked to the police for permission to stay there and take a picture from a distance, without bothering, of Maxima when she got out of the clinic. But apparently the head of guards *the bald guy who was with the girls, Carmen Cerutti and Maxima at the shopping mall* was not really keen on this.
Ariane had -apparently - something similar to what she had when she was just born, but this time due to sudden climate change.

She is fine. As Verde E said, her sickness was due to the climate change

Oh my goodness, what some people will do to get a couple of pictures. I'm glad to hear that Ariane is ok now, but hope this problem will not continue throughout her life.

Well, the photographers didnt do anything 'wrong'. They were just waiting to see Máxima's car leaving from the hospital, and the bodyguards started to attack them, including a female photographer... really incredible

Well, they were all very angry. Dirty words are so rude but when people are fighting like this, what can we expect?
I don't think the photographers were doing anything wrong. They didn't attack anyone, or put anyone's life in risk. They were doing their job, just like they did in the last photosession.
These bodyguards were too much violent , IMO.
