Is Marie a Dutch name? I thought it was a French name! What about Maria? Emma is a nice name, really, I didn't think of it earlier.

So I am for Beatrix Maria Emma Wilhelmina. Or Juliana...

Marie really isn't but I've known a few Marias who were Dutch.

""It is a dream of a baby" according to the father, the Prince of Orange who also stated to "feel happy and grateful".

Mrs M.J.G.H. Smeets, gyneacologist and mrs. J.K. Kreijen-Meinesz, neo-natologist(mid-wife?), assisted the Princess during the delivery.

The younborn Princess is 52 cm long and weighs 3310 grams."

How is it in Holland, do you give the name for the baby, immediately after it is born?
I think the name has to be made public within three days after the birth

Now it must be the happiest moment of Maxima as everything is over and now she can just lie there and enjoy the congrads, waiting for the gun salutes and sort of discussing the name! How comfortable!! Great to be a Crown Princess!!

The prime minister/president is speaking. I don't know which one. I can see it.

That guy looks like the TV guy from before. Odd.

I think the name of the baby should be a mix of a Dutch name and a Latin name, something like annamaria or anything.

I think it will also be named after the queens (beatrix and Juliana) and after the mother of maxima, and I hope it will be named after prince Claus too (Claudine or something like that)

anyway I'm happy that we have a new princess :woot: :flower:

Where do I have to click on to see the live broadcast? It's all in Dutch and I'm all a frenzy! I want to see Willem speak about his daughter, too!
