I dont like this outfit, the skirt looks out of place and the Jacket should have been better tailored and paired with a pencil skirt in the same color. I like the shoes, and the stockings mach well with color of the jacket. Just like Maxima I think she has gotten too blond and she doesent seem to keep up with her roots, she looks washed out when she uses so little makeup(Well, the NRK pictures are not the best). Points for not wearing a turtleneck

I'm not a big fan of the jacket paired with the skirt either. I like both pieces seperatly just not together, but perhaps the blouse or shirt beneath the jacket works better with the skirt and we just aren't seeing it.

Dark roots showing is a popular thing right now, no matter how horrible it looks, so I have a feeling we will be seeing it for a while....Boo...

Does Mette-Marit stand weird or is that just me. It seems to me, in many pictures, she is leaning forward and slightly hunched, rather then standing straight and tall.

The jacket an skirt combination are a terribly mis-matched, not only in the cut of the skirt but obviously also with the choice of colors. Perhaps if she wore something else with the skirt's color (shoes perhaps) it would seem more coordinated.

Her jacket reminds me of the one worn by Princess Máxima here.

I don't really care for this skirt and jacket combination either. It looks very mismatched and out of step with one another.

About the hair, I don't care really if she's gone too blonde or not, but I do think she needs to keep up with those roots of hers. Very unsightly such obvious roots. But the hair is very nicely pulled back here.
