Oh yes, it was a big "party" lasting a whole weekend with a grand ball at the palace and royal guests from all over europe, an official dinner hosted by the government and a visit at the parliament. There were lots of official photos being made of the young CP with his dogs at Skaugum, with his parents and in grand gala with his order of St. Olav newly bestowed on him.

The picture is from Whistler's Mountain in 2010 (Olympics) when he visited the Norwegian biathlon team during a lunch. Biathlete Emil Hegle Svendsen said "Torbjørg [the cook] works completely alone, so now we have to help her a bit." and so he set the Crown Prince to work.

Crown Prince Haakon will visit today Kongsberg. At the "announcement" of the visit is a very beautiful picture of him. Awwww, why is he so awwww. I know, I am a woman and woman get weak if they see beautiful men. Awww.

Thanks for all the pictures, this has got to be my favorite family. Since he is so big and handsome now, I forget how stinkin cute Marius was and how young he was when they got together. Wonder when he realized his new stepfather was the Crown Prince of Norway?

I am thinking about, how was for him in the school, if they had historylessons... He should to know the whole royal-family-history? The biography of his stepfather, the king, queen, Ingrid-Alexandra, and other stories...
