Crown Princesses Victoria of Sweden and Mette-Marit of Norway highlight climate change | Daily Mail Online

Gallery: Elisabeth Holmqvist, a nature photographer, gave Victoria and Mette-Marit her framed photos of Älgafallet, the waterfall that is the border between Sweden and Norway and also the destination for the pilgrimage. Photos taken by her (and some of her husband).

.

Today, September 23, Crown Princess Mette-Marit received a red conversation bench as a gift in connection with 150th anniversary of the Red Cross.

She also talked to a former refugee and now a volunteer for the Red Cross. The Crown Princess, who brought tea in a thermos flask for the occasion, chose to leave the bench to stand in the Palace Park so that others can use it for their conversations.

What a lovely idea. Looks like a very pleasant and relaxed occasion.

17.11.2015 Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess attends a commemorative event in memory of the victims of the terror attacks in Paris, outside Oslo City Hall (17:00).

Very nice pix and nice to see them showing their support !

I am wondering, she's doing events but was labelled 'too ill' already weeks ago to travel to Brazil with Haakon?

As far as I understood it, the CPss was medically adviced not to travel into a different climate zone due to lung or breathing difficulties (not sure which one of it). So she´s well capable of doing all her royal engagements in europe, but not in exotic, tropical countries like Brazil.

So no more holidays to tropical islands then?
