Second day today and CP Haakon laid flowers at the memorial stone over the border guards and their helpers.

At Nordre Hallangen in Aurskog Høland, a memorial stone has been erected to all who risked their lives to help others to safety during World War II.

At Malne's farm, the Crown Prince and his entourage met contemporary witnesses from the war. Gerd fled to Sweden as a 12-year-old because she was a Jew, after escaping the prisoner ship Danube. ⁣⁣

Crown Prince Haakon opened the Norfund conference "Building back Cleaner, Greener and Better" in Oslo today, September 1.

"When done correctly climate action can create much needed jobs", he said in his speech.

There is serious money in exporting, not to mention implementing, environmentally sound solutions.

The Department of Social Research celebrates 70 years. Crown Prince Haakon spoke with three of the department's researchers on the relevant topics of freedom of expression, migration and political participation.

The meeting took place digitally on Wednesday 9 December morning.
