"- Our existence depends on a healthy Arctic environment, said Crown Prince Haakon. He made a speech during the opening of the Arctic Circle in Reykjavik today, 13 October.

Arctic Circle is the largest annual gathering for international dialogue and cooperation on the Arctic's future. The event gathers over 2,000 participants from 60 countries and is held every October in the Harpa concert hall and conference center in Iceland's capital, Reykjavik."

Victoria and Haakon had lunch by the Indian Ocean.
Lunch was taken at one of Africa's most beautiful beaches, with turquoise blue sea and white sand, and with blazing sun over the beach restaurant.
Victoria and Haakon each received a sun hat as a present.
Today's assignment focused on the local project that protects and preserves the threatened mangrove.
