Any information about her studies in Oxford?

Does anyone know if Elisabeth is going to keep joining exercises and military camps or this is the end of her armed forces career as a student?

This is the end.
She is now Officer 2 stars and one day when she will be Queen she will be General 4 stars and head of our Army.

Thank you so much maria-olivia :flowers:

I was thinking that maybe she could have some experience with each branch of the army, like Leonor is doing in Spain or serve in one of them after she graduates from Oxford.
I don't know if it is possible, though.

I would expect her to be engaged with the other two branches of the Army one way or another, she's so young! There's also the doubt about whether she will go for a Master's degree or will become a full time working Royal after graduating from Oxford.

I'm 97% sure that Gabriël will complete the 3 year program, and Prince Emmanuel will also receive military training. We will have to wait till next year to know for certain, but these are very exciting times for the BRF!

The very knowledgable journalist Pascale Mertens has stated a few times already that Elisabeth will study on after her bachelor's degree. So we won't be seeing her as a working crown princess yet for at least a few more years.
Mrs Mertens is on very good terms with court, so this information comes from the best posible source.

Good to know, as I said: she's so young! And her parents are perfectly healthy. I do expect her to attend State Visits.... hopefully!

In our newspaper they wrote that the Princess was one of the best of her Promotion.

Which makes a lot of sense. I assume most people in Belgium still continue with their master after completing their bachelor; unlike some other countries where a bachelor degree is often the final degree - or they at least start working after their bachelor and only do a master after several years of work.

An article in French stating that Princess Elisabeth was a very invested pupil during her Military Academy year and also a very bright one. Without receiving any kind of favour (it was her specific demand) at the end she had one of the highest grades in her promotion.

I wonder if she is doing equally well in her civilian studies. We will probably know her degree classification when she graduates from Oxford next year, but British honors categories (First, Upper Second, Lower Second, etc.) are very broad and don't give specific information about ranking in the class.

It wouldn't surprise me if she is doing very well at Oxford. She passed the entrance exams which is an accomplishment in itself.

And even before she entered Oxford and the Atlantic College, Elisabeth had a reputation for being a highly intelligent young girl.

The King and Queen must be so proud.

Wim Dehandschutter confirms the presence of Princess Elisabeth to Prince Christian's birthday party. As no other member of the family is mentioned, we can assume it is her first solo trip abroad (unless one of her brothers is going with her and will be announced later on).

I'm hopeful one of the boys will accompany her. I want Elisabeth to borrow the Laurel Wreath Tiara for this event.

I would love it if one of her handsome brothers escorted the princess. Since Emmanuel just turned 18 himself he would be the perfect choice!;)

I absolutely agree. Considering the gala is taking place on a Sunday evening and there's the beginning of the Portuguese state visit to Belgium on Monday, TTMM are getting ready for the event, but I am sure one of the Princes can surely take a day off from school/academy when the Queen of Denmark is sending an invitation :whistling: [emoji38]

was it like that for her father?

Princess Elisabeth has paid a visit to the Princess Elisabeth Children's Hospital in Gent today, December 20:

Elisabeth had inaugurated the Princess Elisabeth Children's Hospital in September 2011 - time flies...

Wow what a flash back and then 12 years later!
