Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde will be on an economic mission to Turkey
from October 15th to October 19th, 2012.


The economic mission is organized by the Agency for Foreign Trade in close cooperation with the regional trade
(Awex, Flanders Investment & Trade, and Brussels Invest & Export).

State and local ministers will accompany the couple on their journey.

Tomorrow the economic mission starts. The wedding date in Luxemburg brought some changes to the program, Mathilde will return to belgium thurseday and Philippe Friday morning instead of them returning friday late afternoon.

I had thought that they both might travel directly from Turkey to Luxembourg instead of returning to Belgium or the trip cutting short.

Thanks for the link! Mathilde will return to Brussels alongside her husband on Friday according to this very reliable schedule. Also it´s not surprising that they return to Brussels before travelling to Luxembourg. They travel on commercial flights and there is no direct flight from Ankara to Luxembourg. Brussels or Frankfurt are the nearest international airports. :flowers:
 
Mathilde looking quit well rested today. A much better outfit than yesterdays arrival outfit.

These two pictures were taken in Ankara in May 2004, back then Mathilde and Philippe had made a 5-day economic mission to Turkey as well :)

I always love how they express affection, both are private people by nature so they don't go overboard but you can always tell how much they love each other :wub:

BTW: If Mathilde is 1.79m tall then Philippe has to be at least 1.85m, her heels seem to be higher than 5cm IMO ;)

Photos of yesterday I was with the service. The official publication of the state Anadolu news agency.
Location as: children working in the streets of Ankara Municipality has been noted as a visit to the center.

Anadolu Agency wrote a post on this subject. The answer to share with you.

Belgium's Crown Prince Philippe in Ankara
- President Abdullah Gul to meet with an official ceremony, Crown Prince Philippe.
- Rose, head to head to lunch after talks in honor of Philippe. Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan will the programs.
- Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Official Housing will meet with the Crown Prince Philippe.
- Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay, Prince Philippe will be given by the merit badge.
- Interior Minister Idris Naim Şahin, Prince Philippe will meet with the office.


also: November 16 to 30 have a note on visit to Australia and New Zealand.
