Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde will be on an economic mission to Thailand
from March 16th to March 22nd, 2013.


The economic mission is organized by the Agency for Foreign Trade in close cooperation with the regional trade
(Awex, Flanders Investment & Trade, and Brussels Invest & Export).

State and local ministers will accompany the couple on their journey.

The economic mission has started. Crown Prince Philippe and Crown Princess Mathilde arrived in Bangkok early Sunday, March 17. Here are the first pics:

Day 2, March 18, has started with a visit to the art exhibition "Three colours of Belgium" and a meeting at a hotel in Bangkok.

Day 4 - March 20!

Philippe and Mathilde visited the industrial zone of Map Ta Phut, Mathilde visited a temple at the Vinythai Coral Reef project in Eastern Seaboard and together they attended a gala dinner in the evening:

Day 5 - March 21:

Philippe and Mathilde attended the re-opening ceremony of the Thai-Belgian Friendship Bridge in Bangkok and later Mathilde visited the Kredtrakarn Protection and Occupational Development Center in Bangkok.

Day 6 - March 22 - the final day of the mission.



Philippe and Mathilde visited the Sea Farm Learning Center in Petchaburi Province, met with King Bhumibol Adulyadej in Bangkok and attended a meeting with the press.
