The Prince of Wales, as Patron of Music in Country Churches, attended
a concert at Malmesbury Abbey, Malmesbury in Wiltshire, May 22, 2010.

Music in Country Churches was set up as a charitable trust in 1989 with
the active support of Prince Charles. The Trust has two aims: to arrange
weekends of music in rural churches of exceptional beauty and interest,
and to raise funds thereby to assist those churches with the costs of
their repair and maintenance.

Charles is looking rather red-faced in those photos, as if he had a sunburn!

I think he quickly gets a sunburn, but if you have a busy schedule
you also break sweat quickly ;)

I would expect Charles to be too careful to get sunburnt. He would know just how unhealthy sunburn is for anyone with his concerns about the environment etc.

Just because you know the concern of Suburn, doesn't mean that you don't get it.
You can put factor 50 suncream on hour after hour but if you have the skin that burns easily, it's not your fault.

I did a little bit of looking and found statements that both Prince Charles and Diana were/are known to have Rosacea.

I've noticed it too in some photos of Harry. I'm not sure of how being in the sun affects this condition but it might be a part of looking like a bad sunburn.

:previous: Rosacea was my other guess for why he was all red-faced. It almost looked like all the capillaries in his cheeks had exploded.

It is. You have to avoid the sun and dress appropriately. I do have skin that burns easily and live in a country with a lot more sun and more dangerous sun than the UK based on the hole in the ozone level in the southern hemisphere and I never get sunburnt - because I take appropriate action. Anyone who gets sunburnt simply is stupid in my opinion.

I was just asking myself WWBD? The other day when the sun came out and was positively frying my Norwegian skin. It was up in Alaska, in Ketchican, and one would not think that there could be so much sun in such a place but there was! So! Luckily there were a SLEW of shops there and we bought a funny, lovely little hat with a brim on it to save the day!
All was saved!

Anybody know if Prince Charles takes any medication for his rosacea? I wouldn't think so as he's quite into natural remedies.
