The trains look pretty usual. Here's hoping that green transport is a winner!
It must be exciting to witness the inventions and to meet the folk with creative and logical minds.

President Herzog told Prince Charles that a nursing scholarship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is to be named after Princess Alice of Battenberg, Princess Andrew of Greece, in recognition of her role during the Nazi occupation of Greece. That's lovely - I'm sure that Prince Charles and the rest of the family appreciate it.

Quite a week of heavy "soft" diplomacy: Jordan, Egypt and the President of Israel.

I'm so glad Princess Alice is being remembered with something that will help people. Lovely honour.

The Prince of Wales had a number of engagements in Cambridge today, November 23. The programme included a visit to the AstraZenaca global Research and Development facility and one to Cambridge Market:

To be fair it was an official visit so no different from the US Vice President using a government plane on an official foreign trip. The aircraft he was using is the UK Government's A330:

If it had been a holiday however I would agree.
The majority of Charle's travels are official visits in his capacity. Thankfully he works more than he vacations. He must find a more sustainable way to travel than using jet aircrafts. If that is he intends to practice what he preaches.

The discussion of how governments choose to transport official representatives on official business is out of place on the current events thread, so let's move on.

His mini ‘ motorcade’ drove past me this morning as I was coming along the road out of Dartmouth-presumably he was on the way to this engagement. I had no idea who the outriders were escorting but got a quick glance of someone in uniform in one of the cars, not sure if it was Charles.
