If I am not mistaken, Camilla's blue ensemble was last seen when Wills was awarded his wings in Lincolnshire last year.

I had the previous evening in mind when C&C had the formal dinner at the RAF base at Linconshire. Can't seem to track down any pictures.

Prince Charles visited Berlin's newly renovated New Museum on Thursday, during a two-day visit to Germany accompanied by his wife Camilla. The prince was shown around by British architect David Chipperfield, who has just finished renovating the future home of Egyptian pharaonic queen Nefertiti.

I have never heard of him speaking German (doesn't mean he doesn't of course).

He does speak French I believe and has a smattering of Welsh.

Why would you think he speaks German?

He can certainly read out and memorise German fluently as he once made a speech entirely in German in Hamburg c.1993/94 according to Jonathan Dimbleby.

In Berlin it wasn´t easy to catch a glimpse of them. There wasn´t a chance when they met Bundespräsident Köhler and his wife or at the football game. Only when they arrive at the British Embassy you could see them for two minutes....that´s it....
Maybe it was easier the next day when Camilla visited Sanssouci Palace - but i couldn´t be there.

I think Charles´German was absolutely great and sounded so sweet...when he talked about his ´liebe Frau´ and ´die Ärmste, die seine nicht enden wollenden Reden anhören muß...´
I´ve heard him talking German before when he visited Hamburg years ago and also when he read his book ´ The Old Man of Lochnagar´ in German.
I always love it!
