Isn't it wonderful to see that the Prince is so involved with all these issues, which are of vital importance, yet often blatantly ignored?
Good job Charles, keep it going! :)

has he ever made any comments about the Al Gore movie...'An Inconvenient Truth?'...just curious...since he is so into Global Warming...I wasn't sure if he ever attended a screening or spoken about it.

________
Prince issues climate warning

Speaking at the All Nations Centre in Cardiff, Prince Charles said the evidence of climate change is ´frightening and alarming´.

Prince issues climate warning

I guess he never met victims of EHEC-infections... In the village where I used to live 5 kindergardeb-kids died because they drank raw milk conterminated by EHECs and shigatoxins..... Nothing to make fun of. It is a risk to drink raw milk - even though it is delicious. And there is not much a farmer can do about EHEC...
The tests that farmers have to have done on each batch before they are allowed to sell unpasteurised, rule out the chance of them selling contaminated milk.

Thank you for the article milla Ca!:flowers:
As usual, I agree with Prince Charles. It's really unfair that the countries that harm the planet least , are going to suffer from the climate changes most.

Prince Charles: Rich nations must do more on climate change

The world´s haves must do more to combat climate change, Britain´s Prince Charles and a former World Bank chief economist wrote in seperate comment pieces published on Friday.

AFP: Rich nations must do more on climate change: Prince Charles
It is great that Prince Charles urges rich and well-developed nations to do more on climate change. However, these nations are not panacea for improving the situations. It would be better for all nations to do whatever they can in allevaiting unfavourable changes in climate.

You´re most welcome Avalon!:flowers:

Thank you for the article milla Ca. :flowers: I can well remember the distress suffered by many when our Elms had to be cut down, the landscape looked so bare. We too started to replant Elms a few years ago, along with Elder and Oak, just in case.

Many have forgotten the Elm and it's great that Charles is spearheading the restoration. :flowers:

^ That Dutch Elm Disease sounds horrible. I had no idea of it. It's peculiar that only these elms are vulnerable to it but good obviously that now there is a vaccine.
