The Duchess of Cornwall found herself attracting the attention of a feathered admirer on a remote Galapagos Island today.
A great frigate bird put on a display of its incredible red breast when Camilla and the Prince of Wales came across it during a guided tour.

It could a scene from a Merchant Ivory production, a colonial epic with finely-tuned set pieces and close attention to period detail.
With her parasol and his panama hat, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, echoed a bygone age as they took in the sights of the remote Galapagos Islands, 650 miles west off the coast of South America.

Thank you for posting all the photo links, giov. I particularly like the one of the two of them with the giant tortoise - Camilla in the cornflower blue dress. She's laughting heartily. Charles has obviously said something that tickled her fancy. I'd love to know what he said.
