I believe that Prince Charles is also the godfather of Lucia Santa Cruz's first son.
After Diana's death, Camilla stayed in Chile for a while with Lucia to get away from the bad press in UK.
They are very old friends.

Duchess of Cornwall looked really nice. I have to say that soft ivory colour becomes her better than pure white. The necklace is all right ... I am not keen on yellow gold that has a tedency to look cheap.

IMO, Camilla looked good. The quality of the embroidery on her dress could have been better (based on what one can see in these pics), but it all worked.
